ACTIVITY AS A SOCIETY


Among the societal activities planned for members of BioLingua are:

-- Organization of meetings and workshops (thus far four workshops on Open Problems of Computational Molecular Biology have been organized in Telluride, CO).

-- Electronic discussions of open problems arising from research in Computational Biology.

-- Exchange of information on published and unpublished results in the field.

-- Help with formulation of new research projects pertaining to computational and theoretical biology.

-- A repository of public domain, freeware and shareware software and databases will be established and available to all members.

-- BioLingua Research will facilitate publication of outstanding quality work by our members and help them to achieve this outstanding quality through well organized collaboration and discussion.
